Job summary
NYC Department of Environmental Protection seeks two Scientist (Water Ecology) Level II for the Distribution Water Quality Operations’ Distribution Laboratory in Queens, NY. Qualifications
- Master's or combination of degrees with related field experience.
- Experience in water quality planning, management, or laboratory analyses.
- One year of related full-time experience for the bachelor path; three years for associate path.
Responsibilities
- Collect drinking water quality samples from various stations and locations.
- Perform field water quality analyses and calibrate meters.
- Maintain field equipment and assist in emergency remediation.
- Work across NYC boroughs driving and sampling as needed.
