Job summary
The Cadmus Group LLC is seeking a data-focused analyst to support EPA and other agencies on surface water quality, watershed planning, and drinking water protection. You will analyze large environmental datasets, build dashboards, and collaborate with federal, state, and local partners.
Required skills include R and Python for data cleaning, ArcGIS Pro and ArcPy for geospatial work, and experience with ArcGIS Online/Power BI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, water resources or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience; Master’s may substitute for 2 years.
- Experience retrieving and analyzing large environmental datasets and geospatial data.
- Advanced skills in R and Python for data cleaning and analysis.
- ArcGIS Pro with ArcPy; familiarity with ArcGIS Online/Power BI/Shiny for dashboards.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Clean, analyze, and store data using R; develop documentation.
- Analyze raster/vector geospatial data with ArcGIS and Python.
- Evaluate national/state/local data sets for water sector projects.
- Develop tools/dashboards using ArcGIS Online or Power BI.
- Create data analysis methodologies summaries; literature reviews.
