Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks a Water Utility GIS Data Analyst to join the National Planning and Water Resilience Team in Hanover, MD. You will support engineers, scientists, and project managers with GIS and data analyses for water infrastructure projects.

In this role you will coordinate data collection, SOP development, and client-ready reports. Strong SQL and data management skills are essential to drive insights for program decisions and grant funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably STEM related.
• 9 years of experience, including 2 years in a consulting capacity.
• Experience with data analysis, SOP development, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in training activities to educate junior data analysts and develop SOPs.
• Interview stakeholders to understand data-driven goals.
• Understand internal/external KPIs and how data informs them.
• Ensure collected data is accurate, standardized, and usable for downstream products.
• Review client-facing data products and flag issues or bugs.
• Maintain calendars, MS Planner boards, and other project assets to show timelines.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root-cause analysis with the team.
