Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods. The role requires standing, handling organic solvents, and operating lab equipment.

It is a 3rd shift position (11pm–7:30am) with training on weekdays during first shift. Required BS/BA in Chemistry or related field, or AS degree or 2 years lab experience; English proficiency; and legal work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analysis.
• Record and report data and communicate unusual test occurrences to supervisor.
• Maintain and operate laboratory instruments and related software; perform routine QC tasks.
• Inventory and housekeeping duties; follow QA/QC and safety guidelines.
• Assist in other laboratory areas as needed.
