Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with QA programs and SOPs. The role may involve standing long periods, handling organic solvents, glassware, and specialized equipment.

Qualifications include a BS/BA in Chemistry or related field (or Associate Degree with 2 years of lab experience), strong English proficiency, and the ability to work standard second shift hours.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field; Associate Degree; or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read/write/speak).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods and programs.
• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Record and report data and unusual test occurrences to supervisor; perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Maintain training documentation and ensure QC samples are completed on schedule.
• Operate under supervision using standard methods and ensure safety and quality standards.
