Granite Construction Incorporated is hiring an entry level Pump Tech to assist Operators with water pump installation and routine mechanical work on water well pumps. You will support crews, operate various site equipment, and help ensure safety, quality, and timely project completion.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (occasional 100 lbs), and be prepared to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Construction site or outdoor industry experience preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long shifts outdoors in all weather.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safety and quality procedures to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.
• Lift and move pipe and pump components up to 50 lbs, assist up to 100 lbs.
• Operate service trucks, cranes, generators, engines, pumps and related equipment.
• Collaborate with crew and work independently to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Record time, materials, and other required paperwork accurately.
• Assist in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water pumps.
• Load/unload trucks, transport equipment between sites, set up for jobs.
• Collect and label water samples for analysis.
• Perform additional duties to support team objectives.
