Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Water Project Supervisor to join our Water Project Team in Bridgeport, NJ. The on-site role supervises crews of Environmental Technicians across water projects, with travel to CONUS/globally as needed.

You will manage safety, compliance, and paperwork, coordinate schedules, and support new water construction projects in New Jersey. The position offers opportunities for growth, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits, with a typical schedule on the road and periodic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in environmental studies preferred.
• Experience with water treatment, filtration systems, and wastewater treatment plants highly preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisor experience preferred.
• Water certifications are a plus.
• Valid and clean driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Knowledge of RCRA requirements and regulations.
• Understanding of manpower and equipment needs for assignments.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Available for 24-hour on-call basis.
• Strong mechanical ability preferred.
• Knowledge of chemicals preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, EPA waste codes, manifesting and LDR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety is the number one priority by following policies and procedures.
• Supervises multiple employees on water projects.
• Maintains and submits required paperwork after project operations.
• Ensures staff meets all compliance standards.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
