Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Manager-Water in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. The role guides multidiscipline water projects, coordinating schedules, budgets, and staffing while maintaining client relations and QA/QC standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a PE license, and at least 7 years' related experience, including 2+ years in project management. Local NY/NJ residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 7 years of related experience in engineering projects.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience are required; Access is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline Water related projects.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects and ensure work is completed within budget.
• Work with managers for project reviews and governance.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Supervise project staff and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Perform other duties as needed.
