Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Water Project Manager (PE) to lead drinking water and water infrastructure projects in the Lehi, Utah region. You will own projects from concept through construction, guiding design, permitting, and delivery while mentoring engineers and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a PE in Utah, proven project leadership, and a track record delivering municipal water projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with water treatment design and project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage projects, clients, and teams simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to clients.
• Experience or interest in business development and client growth.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR) as per laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for drinking water and water infrastructure projects, guiding work through the full project lifecycle.
• Lead water/wastewater project delivery including planning, design, and construction administration.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with municipalities and agencies.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities and business development efforts.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and project teams.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.
• Ensure projects deliver high-quality, practical, and constructible solutions.
