Civil Science, Inc. is seeking an experienced Public Works Project Manager to support Utah operations in Salt Lake City or Lehi. This role focuses on municipal infrastructure, client relationships, and on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will lead project teams, manage scope and risk, and contribute to a growing public works practice. A PE license and public sector experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer with client-facing experience in public works.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects and budgets.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary client contact for public works projects across Utah
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple active municipal projects
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
• Deliver high-quality infrastructure projects for city, county, and state agencies
• Support business development efforts, including proposals and client relationship growth
• Collaborate with leadership to expand backlog and strengthen market presence
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
• Ensure projects meet quality, risk, and compliance standards
