Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for the Dallas–Fort Worth market. You will manage municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects and support clients and technical teams across North Texas.

The role involves coordinating design, overseeing budgets and schedules, and mentoring engineers while maintaining strong client relationships with municipal and public-sector entities. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or related engineering.
• Texas PE license, or ability to obtain one.
• Municipal water or wastewater engineering experience.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects and technical teams.
• Knowledge of pipelines, pump stations, treatment, collection or distribution systems.
• Strong project-management and client-facing capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Dallas–Fort Worth market.

I am working with an established engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Water/Wastewater Project Manager within the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

The position will involve managing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects while supporting clients and technical teams throughout North Texas.

Salary: $130,000-$180,000 depending on experience

Job Specifications:

• Manage municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction


• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or a related engineering discipline


• Texas Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain one


• Previous municipal water or wastewater engineering experience


• Experience managing infrastructure projects and technical teams


• Knowledge of pipelines, pump stations, treatment, collection or distribution systems


• Strong project-management and client-facing capabilities


• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and deadlines


• Existing knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth market would be beneficial
