Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Program Director to support the continued growth of our Water Group in Texas. This leadership role develops water resources, stormwater, coastal engineering, groundwater, water supply, and water master planning services while supporting strategic growth nationally.

You will lead business development, strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, mentor teams, and position Woolpert as a trusted advisor to federal, state, and local agencies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in the water industry.
• Strong business development, capture management, and client relations track record.
• Experience supporting Texas water projects for state and local agencies.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development to expand Woolpert's Water practice in Texas and support national growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, state, federal, and private-sector clients.
• Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities in water resources, stormwater, coastal engineering, groundwater, water supply, and water master planning.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop growth strategies and deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams while promoting collaboration and excellence.
• Lead proposal development, client presentations, contract negotiations, and strategic pursuits.
• Represent Woolpert at industry conferences and client-facing events.
• Promote innovative technologies to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
• Support thought leadership and market positioning initiatives.
