Base pay range

$80.52/hr - $89.37/hr

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Production Operator with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands-on, field-based work environment. Responsibilities include working in the field with teams to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Monitor, operate, and maintain water gathering pipeline systems, disposal and booster stations.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient operation of oil, water, and gas production systems.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning meters, strainers, gauges, and operating valves and testing equipment.
• Operate pumps, motors, valves, flow meters, pressure transmitters, chemical pumps, and understand their servicing needs.
• Coordinate with trucking companies for water hauling, flowback, workover, and service operations.
• Work with control room operators via SCADA and cameras to monitor the field, respond to alarms, and handle emergencies.
• Receive initial on-the-job training before operating independently.

Requirements:

• Strong communication, safety, and environmental awareness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations, procedures, blueprints, and drawings.
• Capability to check well sites, pumps, and stations with varying setups.
• Operate, maintain, and service equipment with safety and cleanliness in mind.
• Operate automatic equipment on well sites and facilities.
• Interest in learning new software like Cygnus, iVolume, DENCF, etc.
• Understanding of fluid pressures and flow rates in pipelines.
• Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic tools for equipment inspection and repair.
• Familiarity with safety procedures including lockout/tagout, respirators, and H2S monitoring.
• Use of hand and power tools.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Location: Midland, TX (reside within 50 miles)

Hitch: 5 days on, 2 days off

Pay: $80.52 to $89.37/hour
