Production Operator I
As a Production Operator I, you will be responsible for operating your assigned position in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality work. Your duties may include the placement and testing of electrical components, cleaning finished products, or loading raw materials into machines.
This position is for our Swing shift, M-F from 2pm to 10pm.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Production experience preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines
- Clean and prepare workstations and machines
- Assemble and test components, ensuring adherence to requirements; soldering experience is a plus
- Perform electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems
- Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
- Check final assembly for finish, labeling, and packaging
- Complete production reporting
- Ensure profitable business operations
- Complete other tasks as required or directed
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and labor laws
Skills and Traits
- Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English
- Team and customer-oriented attitude
- Attention to detail
