Fairfax Water is seeking an Instrumentation Technician I to perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on process control instrumentation and electronic equipment used in water production, storage, and distribution. You will monitor instruments via local HMI panels and SCADA workstations, calibrate transmitters and meters, and assist with wiring for new installations under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with electronic experience, basic electronics

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with two years electronic experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic knowledge of electronic and electrical theory and process instrumentation.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams/manufacturers manuals and use electronic test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on process control instrumentation and electronic equipment.
• Monitor instruments via HMI panels and SCADA workstations.
• Calibrate and maintain transmitters, meters, and detectors.
• Assist with wiring and assembly for new installations per drawings.
• Repair electronic/electrical components and replace PC boards or motors as needed.
