Job summary

Loudoun Water seeks an Instrumentation / Control System Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair industrial control equipment including PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, sensors, and related electronics. certification or ability to obtain ISA CCST Level 1 or Electrical Apprenticeship within 12 months is preferred.

Requirements include 2 years electronics training, 4 years instrumentation experience (3 in industrial controls), and familiarity with maintenance systems and

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of specialized vocational training or college-level coursework in electronics.
• Four years experience in instrumentation/electronic systems; three years with industrial control systems.
• Experience with process control sensors (flow, level, pressure, analysis).
• Experience with computer-based maintenance management systems; Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, UPS desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair or replace a wide variety of industrial control system equipment.
• Support SCADA and process instrumentation in water utility operations.
• Work on-call status and/or overtime as needed.
