Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Drinking Water Process Associate Engineer to join a global engineering team focused on municipal water treatment projects. You will work under senior engineers on conventional treatment and advanced processes across multiple sites, including Tampa, Orlando, and Houston.

This role offers exposure to project delivery, client interaction, and hands-on testing. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least one year of related water-treatment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum 1 year of related water-treatment experience.
Knowledge of conventional water treatment and related processes.
Relocation eligible and willing to work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing engineering deliverables such as process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
Support multiple projects simultaneously under guidance from senior staff.
Participate in bench, pilot, and full-scale testing to assess treatment options.
Develop recommendations for appropriate treatment processes and equipment.
Assist in data collection, assimilation, and analysis for process design work.
Contribute to client communications and coordination with project teams.
Support quality requirements and adherence to design standards.
Collaborate with internal and external teams for successful project execution.
