Job summary

Palatine Park District is seeking energetic Water Polo Coaches to support our year-round Water Polo Team in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. The role involves teaching fundamentals to athletes aged 8-18, from novice to competitive levels, with evening practices during the school year and morning/evening sessions in breaks.

Coaches work at Fremd HS and Palatine HS, with Birchwood Pool during warmer months. Ideal candidates have knowledge of water polo or prior coaching experience and can

Palatine Park District is seeking Water Polo Coaches to assist with our year-round Water Polo Team located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.

The ideal candidate will assist with teaching the fundamentals of the sport of water polo to ages 8-18, which includes novice through competitive level athletes. The position will require evening practices during the week when school is in session, along with morning and/or evening practices once school is out.

This position will work out of the local High School pools, primarily Fremd HS & Palatine HS. Once school concludes, the position will also include work at Birchwood Pool, an outdoor, eight-lane, 50-meter facility.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of competitive water polo and/or previous coaching experience
• Ability to interact positively with players, officials, and parents in an energetic, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

The pay range for this position is $15-$20 /hour.
