Palatine Park District is seeking energetic Water Polo Coaches to support our year-round Water Polo Team in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. The role involves teaching fundamentals to athletes aged 8-18, from novice to competitive levels, with evening practices during the school year and morning/evening sessions in breaks.

Coaches work at Fremd HS and Palatine HS, with Birchwood Pool during warmer months. Ideal candidates have knowledge of water polo or prior coaching experience and can

Qualifications

• Knowledge of competitive water polo and coaching experience.
• Ability to interact positively with players, officials, and parents.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamentals of water polo to ages 8-18.
• Assist with developing players from novice to competitive levels.
• Coordinate with high school pools (Fremd HS & Palatine HS) and Birchwood Pool for practices.
