Job summary

US Water Services Corporation is seeking a Water Plant Operator in Florida to ensure safe, compliant operation of water treatment facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring pumps, motors, and treatment equipment; collecting samples; adjusting chemical dosages; maintaining records; and troubleshooting issues.

The role requires an active Florida Class C Water Operator's License (or higher), a valid Florida driver’s license, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Class C Water Operator's License or higher; and at least one year of experience in water collection or treatment systems.
• Ability to read gauges, interpret data, and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Wamiliarity with safety, regulatory standards, and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water plant equipment and instrumentation.
• Collect water samples and perform laboratory testing as needed.
• Adjust chemical dosages to support process control and water quality.
• Maintain shift logs and operational records with accuracy.
• Inspect, service, and repair water system equipment and components.
• Coordinate with other departments for additional support or repairs.
• Assist with training of other water department personnel.
