Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating electrical and mechanical equipment in a water treatment environment.
• Must possess a Class C Operator License from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

Responsibilities

• Operate the water plant on an assigned shift and perform routine maintenance.
• Conduct chemical analyses and adjust processes to ensure effective treatment.
• Maintain logs and prepare periodic reports of plant operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment repairs as needed.
• Instruct new operators on standard operating procedures.
