Job summary

El Paso Water Parks is seeking an Aquatic and Park Service Supervisor to lead a 30+ lifeguard team and ensure safety across all park facilities. You will enforce rules, monitor operations, and coordinate with park departments to maintain high standards of care and service.

The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, a valid lifeguard certification, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies while maintaining excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Must be able to swim, perform water activities and rescues.
• Must be able to swim 50 yards (front crawl or breaststroke), swim under water for 10 feet, and retrieve a 10-pound brick from bottom of a pool (shallow water).
• Must be able to swim 200 yards (front crawl or breaststroke), tread water for 2 minutes with hands out of the water and retrieve a 10-pound brick from the deepest part of the pool (deep water).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks of lifeguards and aquatics staff to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Enforce all rules, regulations, and safety standards across El Paso Water Parks.
• Lead a team of 30+ lifeguards, coaching and performance managing when needed.
• Serve as primary responder for medical or first-aid incidents and escalate when required.
• Maintain aquatics records, equipment, and coordination with other park departments.
• Assist with training programs and ensure compliance with safety policies.
