Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the El Paso Water Parks to ensure safe operation and routine maintenance of water park equipment, including inspections, water quality monitoring, preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

The role requires maintaining logs, performing basic electrical work under supervision, and supporting seasonal openings/closings while adhering to OSHA and NFPA safety standards. Flexibility for nights/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience or training preferred.
• Must obtain CPO or AFO certification within timeframe set by management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety on water park attractions per policies.
• Ensure water chemistry meets CDC and health guidelines.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of attractions and equipment.
• Operate and maintain water park systems: pumps, filtration, chemical control.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and inspections per manuals.
• Assist senior staff with advanced repairs and seasonal opening/closing.
