Job summary

Destination El Paso, operated by Legends Global, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the four El Paso Water Parks. This role focuses on safe operation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumps, filtration, and chemical control systems.

You will perform inspections, maintain logs, and support seasonal opening and closing tasks while adhering to OSHA and NFPA safety standards. A strong teamwork attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read measurements and perform math for chemical dosing.
• Must obtain CPO or AFO certification within a timeframe set by management.
• Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, plumbing, carpentry, and related facility systems.
• Able to safely use hand/power tools and work flexible hours.
• Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety on all water park attractions per safety policies.
• Ensure water chemistry adheres to CDC and local health guidelines.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of attractions and equipment.
• Operate and maintain water park attractions, filtration, pumps, and chemical control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and inspections per manuals.
• Maintain maintenance logs, chemical logs, and Mobaro work orders.
• Assist with seasonal opening/closing and winterization of facilities.
