Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking a Groundskeeper for El Paso Water Parks to maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and irrigation systems. You will operate power equipment and hand tools, fertilize and mulch, prune vegetation, and keep the grounds clean and safe for guests.

This part-time role requires independence, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible hours; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to communicate with diverse teams

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in ground maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping, lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation systems.
• Fertilize lawns, trees, flowers, and shrubs; spread mulch as needed.
• Trim and prune trees, hedges, and shrubs; prevent and eliminate weeds.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate and maintain trucks, trailers, and other assigned vehicles.
• Apply insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical treatments to address plant diseases and pests.
• Keep grounds free from trash, litter, and debris; empty trash receptacles regularly.
• Conduct basic irrigation audits, perform minor irrigation repairs, and adjust/calibrate watering times and schedules for efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of grounds equipment and supplies; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work flexible and irregular hours as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
