Job summary

Clearwater Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated operator to manage the operation, maintenance, and supervision of water distribution and treatment facilities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in water treatment, and a valid NC certification (Class B Surface preferred). This on-site role requires attention to safety and accurate report writing. Weekend, overtime, and on-call availability required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Current NC Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification (Class B Surface) is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in water treatment plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains the water distribution system and treatment equipment.
• Maintains pump stations.
• Perform sample collection, preparation, and laboratory testing.
• Maintain records, data entry, and reporting.
• Ensures completion of work assignments within deadlines and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Analyzes and evaluates pump equipment, troubleshoots malfunctions, and monitors plant operation.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintains facility grounds including equipment and tanks.
• Performs general landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, and clean-ups.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
