Job summary

Unitil seeks a senior leader to supervise, plan, schedule, and complete construction, operation, and maintenance of water sources and distribution in New Hampshire. This role collaborates with operations, engineering, and customer service to ensure reliable water delivery and safe service during emergencies.

The position emphasizes project management, regulatory compliance, and leadership to drive performance, safety, and cost effectiveness while coordinating with labor and union relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or similar technical field.
• Five years of water utility management experience.
• Regular travel between NH locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and plans project management for construction, operation, and maintenance of water systems.
• Oversees regulatory compliance, reporting and cross-functional interface with other teams.
• Leads safety, QA/QC, and performance benchmarks to meet service standards.
• Manages budget development and capital project expenditures with labor relations in mind.
• Collaborates with operations, engineering, and customer service to serve communities.
• Directs emergency response and ensures timely records and documentation.
