Job summary

Pennichuck Water Works Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking an Engineering Services Coordinator to manage new water service connections from inquiry to installation and activation, while providing support for engineering programs and asset management initiatives.

The role requires detail orientation, strong customer focus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software such as MUNIS and CityWorks. Occasional local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma and equivalent years of experience in a similar role.
• 2-4 years of experience in coordination, administrative, or support roles, ideally in engineering, construction, or utility environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft-based platforms (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Strong records management and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of new water service connections from inquiry to meter installation and service activation.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections and installations with homeowners, contractors, and internal departments.
• Maintain project documentation and track dates in enterprise systems.
• Assist with development of main extension agreements and service applications for third-party/developer-led projects.
• Support engineering teams in planning, coordination, and execution of capital projects.
