Job summary

City of Henderson, Nevada is seeking a part-time Utility Maintenance Aide - Water Operations. The role involves manual labor for maintenance of water and sewer facilities and assisting with warehouse tasks.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours may be required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, one year of related maintenance experience, and certifications: OSHA, forklift, plus a Nevada driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of full-time maintenance experience.
• Must obtain OSHA card.
• Must have a valid Nevada or border state driver's license.
• Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
• Complete assigned City training courses.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor for maintenance of water, sewer, and utility facilities.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory tasks.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
