Qualifications

• Two years' experience or education in water/wastewater operations with hands-on mechanical and instrumentation maintenance
• Certifications: Water Treatment Grade I and Water Distribution Grade I; NFPA70 or QEW training; CDL Class A or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Familiar with operating water system SCADA software (Ignition)
• Willingness to perform safety-sensitive work and lift heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Monitor wells and distribution system operations to meet water quality standards
• Operate and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA; assist with screen modifications, tag configurations, alarms
• Calibrate, repair, and replace process instrumentation and basic sensors
• Maintain logs of water system operations, chemical usage, and production
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and valves
