Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrumentation & controls Project Manager in Boise, ID. The role focuses on delivering I&C/SCADA projects for drinking water and wastewater, with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and client communications.

You may lead PLC/HMI programming and mentor junior staff across multiple offices, with hybrid work and periodic travel. The ideal candidate has strong PM experience, PLC/HMI expertise, and familiarity with P&ID concepts, with a track record in water/wastewater

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct PM experience delivering instrumentation and control system implementation projects with values over $50,000.
• Experience with startup and commissioning control systems as a lead PLC and HMI programmer.
• Basic understanding of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

Responsibilities

• Manage regional I&C/SCADA projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare project scopes and fees for contracting; oversee resources and invoicing.
• Lead PLC/HMI programming; mentor junior staff and coordinate with client.
• Track changes and ensure delivery meets scope and budget; travel as needed.
