Job summary

City of Englewood is seeking a Water Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead the operation and maintenance of the Allen Water Treatment Plant, pump facilities, and storage tanks. The role ensures reliable, safe water service compliant with federal and state regulations while supporting city goals.

The position involves coordinating with the Plant Manager and Engineering teams, supervising staff, and driving budgeting, maintenance programs, and performance metrics to optimize water system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related water treatment field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years' increasingly responsible experience in water utility operations and maintenance.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Project and asset management principles desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees maintenance of AWTP, pump facilities, and distribution storage tanks.
• Establishes process reliability metrics and performance goals for staff.
• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and maintenance schedules.
• Monitors maintenance quality and collaborates with leadership to ensure safe, compliant operations.
