Job summary

Paces Restoration, An American Restoration Brand, is a field-based firm providing 24/7 water mitigation and restoration services. The Water Mitigation Technician responds to emergencies, performs mitigation, and supports restoration while upholding safety procedures and company standards.

This role requires travel to residential and commercial sites and collaboration with customers and management. Responsibilities include water extraction, drying, documentation, equipment setup, and on-call

Qualifications

• Previous water mitigation or restoration experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass required background, drug, and employment screenings.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy equipment and contents.
• Strong documentation and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage losses.
• Inspect affected areas and identify source and extent of water damage.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and cleaning activities.
• Set up and monitor air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Take moisture readings and document progress.
• Photograph and document job-site conditions and completed work.
• Communicate professionally with customers, owners, adjusters, and management.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies when scheduled.
