PuroClean of South Chesapeake is seeking a dependable Lead Restoration Technician who can take ownership of projects, lead a crew, communicate with customers, and get the job done correctly without constant supervision.

We offer a $26/hour base rate with overtime, bonuses, year-round work, and opportunities for advancement. IICRC WRT and AMRT certifications are preferred and must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience running projects or leading crews
• IICRC WRT and AMRT preferred at hire and required within 6 months
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer-service skills
• Comfortable with mobile apps and restoration software
• Able to work in crawlspaces, attics, and demanding environments
• Willing to perform water, mold, sewage, fire, biohazard, demolition, and difficult cleanup work
• Reliable attendance and communication

Responsibilities

• Lead mitigation and remediation projects
• Direct and work alongside technicians
• Perform extraction, demolition, cleaning, drying, and microbial remediation
• Establish containment and environmental controls
• Set and monitor drying and air-filtration equipment
• Maintain accurate moisture readings, drying logs, notes, equipment records, and photos
• Communicate with customers and the office
• Identify scope changes before proceeding
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and job sites
• Help train newer technicians
• Participate in emergency and after-hours response
