Sparus Holdings is a leading field utility services provider seeking a Field Meter Technician for Allegiant Utility Services operations in Tennessee. You will remove old water meters, perform water meter exchanges, and install new units while following precise work orders and safety protocols.
Travel is required, with overnight stays as needed. You’ll work with utility personnel and customers, maintain equipment and inventory, and stay current on meter principles.
Allegiant Utility Services is a world class utility service organization that has been providing meter installation, meter testing and meter sales to Rural Electric Cooperatives and Municipalities for over 25 years. We also cater to electric cooperatives, city municipalities, and a variety of other businesses such as recreational vehicle parks and retirement communities. Allegiant installs primarily electric and water meters also, inspects and tests commercial electric meters through its field service divisions.
Rate of pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Water meter and register exchange experience is required.
On the job training and supervision will be provided prior to working independently.
This position will REQUIRE travel.
Need to be willing to travel/stay overnight as part of work schedule.
Full Time Mon-Thurs 1st shift hours, 10 hour days
