The Town of Brookline is seeking a Water Meter Foreperson to oversee the installation, testing, and repair of water meters within the Department of Public Works. This position requires strong mechanical skills, relevant experience, and a valid Massachusetts CDL Class D License.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with water meters or related environments.
• Knowledge of methods and tools for testing and repair of water meters.
• Valid Massachusetts CDL Class D License and Cross Connection Control Tester Certification are required.

• Supervise and inspect the installation and repair of water meters.
• Maintain records of testing and repairs; manage inventory of meters.
• Conduct testing of backflow preventors and plan installations.
