Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, safe work practices, and work zone safety is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in water and sewer construction or similar utility work is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavating and backfilling utility trenches.
• Maintain hydrant and water main valves.
• Clean and maintain water storage facilities, reservoirs, and surrounding grounds.
• Perform seasonal work such as mowing, leaf raking, and snow removal.
• Respond to emergencies involving water or sewer systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain water mains, service pipes, hydrants, and sewer/drain connections.
