Job summary

Capstone Copper's Pinto Valley Mine seeks a Project Manager II – Water Management to lead capital and sustaining projects ensuring water balance and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Superintendent, Water Management, and collaborates across safety, production, and maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering or 5+ years in planning/construction/project management, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage budgets and schedules using MS Project,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 5+ years in a Planner/PM/Construction role.
• Experience interpreting redlines and technical drawings.
• Experience managing project schedules and budgets with MS Project, Excel, and Gantt charts.
• Strong written and verbal communication to lead meetings and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver capital and sustaining projects for site water management systems.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, and collaborate with third parties from concept to design.
• Oversee contractors, evaluate bids, and ensure safety, scope, schedule and quality.
• Manage contracts, POs, and cost controls to stay on budget.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure compliance with MSHA policies.
