Job summary

Mott MacDonald in New York is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Water to lead municipal stormwater and wastewater projects. You will oversee planning, design, and delivery of complex programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client objectives.

In this role you will prepare plans, manage project teams, perform hydrologic analyses, and coordinate with disciplines while working a hybrid schedule that requires three days in the office each week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Eight years of experience as a Project Manager delivering municipal stormwater or wastewater infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with stormwater/wastewater design software.
• Ability to prepare bid documents and permits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans and specifications for drainage projects and pumping stations.
• Provide overall project management of stormwater/wastewater projects.
• Lead project delivery teams and develop bid documents.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and modeling.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and report to office.
• Partial telecommuting; report to office 3 days/week.
