Job summary

City of New York's DEP BEDC seeks a Project Manager Intern to support WSCP in the upstate watershed, assisting in supervising water and wastewater projects and coordinating design and construction activities.

Under supervision, you will help review contracts, conduct field surveys, monitor permits, and attend environmental and safety trainings while developing critical thinking and independent data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, urban planning, or related field; or a master's in architecture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct implementation of design and construction projects in the NYC watershed.
• Monitor permit requirements and resolve project issues.
• Conduct field condition surveys and prepare reports.
• Review contract documents for deficiencies and ensure compliance.
• Participate in field investigations and assist construction management with inspections.
• Attend environmental compliance and safety training.
