Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is hiring a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support project teams under supervision, applying engineering principles to select best plans and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role involves hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, floodplain evaluations, and field support across multiple disciplines. You will assist in site design, construction planning, and client coordination while developing technical writing and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Civil, Water Resources, Biological Systems, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
0-2 years of experience; Co-op/Internship preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with other disciplines under the guidance of a senior engineer/designer.
Perform field work as directed.
Assist with basic engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
Assist in stormwater master planning at basin or watershed scale.
Assist in floodplain evaluations, including modeling and permit support.
Support power sector projects including existing infrastructure maintenance and new infrastructure design.
Assist in the design and analysis of stormwater management facilities.
Provide field support for water quality studies, watershed assessments, and other projects.
Assist in civil site design and planning efforts.
