Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized experience includes reading and understanding plans and specifications, inspecting materials to ensure quality and safety, and providing input to solutions based on contract requirements.
• Experience with earthwork and concrete work such as site preparation, forming, placing and curing reinforced concrete, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review and recommend amendments or revisions of proposed contract plans and specifications to ensure conformity with project requirements.
• Inspect construction materials and all phases of work in progress; enforce compliance with safety and environmental rules.
• Reject non-conforming safety, workmanship and materials; collect and prepare material test samples for shipment or delivery.
• Prepare, review, and submit daily inspection and construction progress reports.
