• Experience coordinating with dredge contracts and rental equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reviews project plans for constructability and prepare recommendations for improved design and materials.
• Inspects District civil works construction sites.
• Investigates the need for contract change orders based on field conditions.
• Reviews contractor’s cost breakdowns, progress measurement data, and payment reports.
• Reviews and interprets contract plans and specifications.
• Resolves inspection and surveying issues through contractor representatives.
• Conduct inspections of completed work.
• Provides technical and administrative guidance on project quality assurance plans.
• Prepares estimates for planning and contract modifications.
