Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Currently enrolled in ABET accredited civil engineering program with emphasis in structural, environmental, transportation, or geotechnical.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and BV policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to support design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Perform routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles used in similar engineering analysis.
• Assist with development of project schedules, cost estimates, and engineering deliverables to support successful project execution.
• Focus on the needs of internal clients (project team leadership) while gaining understanding of external client's main interests and drivers.
• Develop and apply knowledge of engineering software, design tools, and digital delivery methods.
