Job summary

American Water Works Association seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to drive strategic account growth in the water and wastewater sector. The role blends technical know-how with strong relationship building and field presence to establish influential connections with engineers and officials across the country.

In this position you will join and promote AWWA standards, deliver training programs, manage product specifications, and coordinate with Territory Managers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water/wastewater systems and operations.
• Proven sales experience in a spec-driven environment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 3 nights per week and relocate if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Call on city engineers and officials nationwide to support Territory Managers and independent projects.
• Be the authority on Tyler Union products for engineering and code communities.
• Promote domestic materials through specifications and training sessions, and present to groups.
