Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC seeks a Water and Fuels Systems Planner to conduct on-site surveys and plan water and fuel systems work for the 99th Civil Engineer Squadron at Nellis AFB. You will develop plans, specifications and drawings, estimate resources, and ensure compliance with NEC/UFC/UMC/UPC.

The role requires coordinating with engineers and craftsmen, managing scopes, schedules and budgets, and maintaining CMMS records. A DoD/USAF background and strong leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, comprehension and application of NEC/UFC/UMC/UPC.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, water and sewer distribution, aircraft and vehicle fuel systems, fire suppression, and natural gas systems.
• Ability to conduct on-site surveys and define scope, materials, and man-hours for water and fuel systems work tasks.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages administrative actions for ongoing projects; tracking status, processing permits and Form 9s, coordinating with base activities and GIS, and supporting QA/QC of Prime Vendor work.
• Performs construction management and contract monitoring; preparing statements of work (SOWs) and statements of operation (SOOs), monitoring contractor compliance, evaluating bids, reviewing change orders and as-built drawings, coordinating with other engineering disciplines across plumbing, water/sewer, fuel, fire suppression, and natural gas systems.
• Defines scope of work with customers; prepares correspondence and briefings, maintains records, and informs management of project status.
• Performs project buy-off, verifying completeness and compliance with design requirements and Air Force standards; recommends corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Ensures all work complies with federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental codes and enhances workplace safety.
• May require access to FOUO information and limited access to restricted areas, following OPSEC guidelines.
