Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks a Water Strider Team Lead to keep production moving by ensuring timely material flow and minimizing downtime. You will coordinate with the assembly team, manage material scanning for inventory accuracy, and interpret work orders and BOMs to determine required parts and tools.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in manufacturing, are detail-oriented, adaptable, and proficient with handheld tools and measurement devices. This role is onsite with safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred).
• Physically active role with constant movement and lifting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Material Logistics: optimize material flow with Just-In-Time routes and timelines.
• Operational Support: interpret work orders, requisitions, and BOMs to identify parts and tools.
• Communication & Alignment: act as focal point in material flow with operations and assembly.
• Lean Leadership: promote Lean initiatives and continuous improvement within the team.
• Safety & Stewardship: maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow PPE protocols.
