The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Water Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe water exercise classes for a diverse membership at Charles River YMCA. You will adapt sessions to different abilities and health needs while fostering community within the class.

The role requires a current Group Exercise certification from a nationally certifying body and experience in health and wellness programming. The position may offer part-time, hourly work with weekday/evening schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field preferred.
• At least two years of experience teaching Group Exercise classes.
• Experience in personal training and health and wellness programming.

• Lead energizing, safe group water fitness classes as directed by supervisor.
• Support participants in achieving health and well-being goals.
• Maintain knowledge of wellness trends to assist members.
