Job summary

Team Hart, SERVPRO of Sugar Land, is seeking a lead for a mitigation crew to handle water, fire, and mold losses in Texas. You will run jobs from arrival to final walkthrough, coaching technicians, documenting moisture readings and drying logs, and communicating with customers while keeping equipment and trucks in good order.

In the first 90 days you’ll be the face of each job, explain next steps, maintain safety and cleanliness, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Steady work history: no more than two jobs in the last three years.
• Restoration experience, or hands-on trade experience that transfers, such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, carpentry, or field service.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work on-call and irregular hours.
• Drug-free.
• Physically able to do field work.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Run your jobs from first arrival to final walkthrough: extraction, demo, drying setup, monitoring, and equipment pickup.
• Lead and coach one to three technicians on site, and set the pace and the standard.
• Document every job the same day: moisture readings, photos, drying logs, and notes.
• Be the face of the job for the customer. Explain what is happening and what comes next, and keep your word.
• Keep your truck, equipment, and job sites clean, stocked, and safe.
• Take your turn in the on-call rotation for after-hours losses.
