Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years related work experience and/or technical training in construction or water/wastewater operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates daily work assignments and delegates duties for timely completion.
• Operates heavy equipment (maintainer, backhoe, sewer jet machine, bulldozer, etc.) as required.
• Operates light equipment (tractor, mower, etc.) as required.
• Maintains equipment schedules for maintenance and repair.
• Repairs/replaces water and sewer mains, valves, manholes, hydrants.
• Performs routine vehicle inspections and checks.
• Installs new taps and mains; cleans sewer lines.
• Lifts heavy material and operates in confined spaces.
• On-call rotation and after-hours emergency response.
